WWE star Randy Orton says he doesn't want to be like Ric Flair where he has to continue wrestling past his mid-40s to provide for his family.
Ric Flair could be coming out of retirement soon to wrestle overseas to help pay monthly alimony payments to his ex-wives. Orton says he doesn't want to be in that position.
"I don't want to put myself in a position where financially I need to perform when I'm 60 or 50 or even in my mid-40s," Orton told the Charlotte Observer to promote Monday's live Raw in Charlotte. "There will be a time when I'm a dad of two or three and I just want to be at home with my family."
He says:
"He was one of my mentors when I started," Orton said. "If it wasn't for him and Triple H and my father (Cowboy Bob Orton), I wouldn't be where I am now."
