We start off with a look back at last week’s number one contender match
between Vladimir Kozlov and Christian.
Match Number One: Christian versus Shelton Benjamin
They lock up and the referee forces them to break in the corner.
Christian with a waist lock and Shelton with a standing switch. Shelton
with a waist lock take down into a front face lock. Shelton turns it
into a side head lock and then Christian hits a spinning heel kick for a
near fall. Christian with an uppercut and a monkey flip but Shelton
lands on his feet and then he tosses Christian into the air and gets a
rollup for a near fall. Shelton with a punch but Christian responds with
punches of his own. Shelton puts Christian in the corner and punches
him. Shelton charges into an elbow and then Christian with a flying back
elbow from the turnbuckles. Christian goes up top but Vladimir Kozlov’s
music plays.
Christian is frozen on the top turnbuckle and Benjamin with a kick that
knocks Christian off the turnbuckles as Kozlov walks to the ring right
in front of Christian. We go to commercial.
We are back and Benjamin with a key lock and Kozlov raises his arm to
acknowledge his presence at the announce table. Benjamin with a knee to
Christian’s midsection and then he gets a near fall. Christian is in the
ropes and Benjamin goes to the apron and he drops Christian’s arm on the
top rope as he continues to work on the arm. Benjamin with an knee to
the injured arm. Benjamin continues the attack with an arm bar. Benjamin
puts Christian on the turnbuckles and Shelton climbs but Christian
knocks him off. Benjamin leaps to the turnbuckles but Christian pushes
him off and hits a missile drop kick and gets a near fall. Christian
punches Benjamin and hits a back elbow. Benjamin misses the dragon whip
and Christian puts Benjamin in the ropes and Christian disappoints a fan
who wants the 619 by standing on Benjamin’s back. Christian drops
Benjamin against the ropes and then Christian hits a tornado DDT and
gets a two count. Benjamin with a Fujiwara arm bar and Christian with a
rollup for a near fall to counter. Christian with the inverted DDT and
then he goes up top.
Benjamin leaps to the turnbuckles and hits a DDT from the top but
Christian kicks out. Benjamin misses the Stinger Splash and Christian
tries for the Killswitch but Benjamin blocks it and hits Paydirt for the
three count.
Winner: Shelton Benjamin
We see footage from last week’s match involving Ezekiel Jackson, who was
obtained by TRADE.
Ezekiel is in the interview area and he is with Gregory Helms. Jackson
says that he was happy with his debut because you only have one chance
to make a first impression. Jackson says that he is the best shape of
his career. Jackson is asked about being away from the shadow of The
Brian Kendrick. Jackson says that Kendrick needed him and now he has his
opportunity to go to the top.

Match Number Two: Paul Burchill /with Katie Lea/ versus Yoshi Tatsu
They lock up and Burchill with a knee to Yoshi. They lock up again and
Burchill with a forearm and punch in the corner. Burchill with a take
down and an elbow drop followed by a suplex and float over for a near
fall. Burchill puts Yoshi in the ropes and he punches Yoshi. Paul
distracts the referee and Katie slaps Yoshi. Burchill with a reverse
chin lock. Yoshi with punches and a rollup for a near fall. Burchill
with a clothesline and a back senton for a near fall. Burchill with a
reverse chin lock. Yoshi with a snap mare and kicks. Yoshi with an Irish
whip but Burchill sends him to the apron. Yoshi slips on the ropes and
Burchill with a Saito suplex but Yoshi is under the ropes and the
referee stops the count. Yoshi with a roundhouse kick for the three count.
Winner: Yoshi Tatsu

We are back and ZZ Top will be the guest host on Raw next week.
Tiffany is on her phone and Tyler Reks enters. He thanks her for
everything that she has been doing for him. She says that she has been
watching his matches on Superstars and he says that he would like to get
in an ECW ring. Tyler would like to make his debut next week and Tiffany
says that she can try to do something about that.
Match Number Three: Goldust versus Zack Ryder
They lock up and Goldust with an arm drag and then they lock up again.
Goldust does his pose and freaks out Zack. Zack has some words for
Goldust and pushes him. Goldust with a shoulder tackle and an arm drag.
Ryder with a punch and forearm. Goldust with a leaping butt bump and
then he clotheslines Zack over the top rope to the floor. Goldust rolls
Ryder back in and when Goldust goes up top, Ryder punches Goldust. Ryder
drops Goldust on the top rope and Goldust goes to the floor again. Ryder
with a near fall. Ryder with a boot to the head for a near fall. Ryder
with a rear chin lock. Goldust with a power slam and both men are down.
Goldust with punches and then he hits a drop down uppercut. Goldust with
a reverse atomic drop and a clothesline. Goldust goes to the turnbuckles
and he hits an elbow for a near fall. Ryder sends Goldust into the
turnbuckles and hits the Zack Attack for the three count.
Winner: Zack Ryder
It is time for the Raw Rebound . . . sponsored by Pump Up the Volume

We are back and Josh and Matt talk about the catastrophes that have
befallen people in ECW only to see them be saved by Hurricane and it
appears that Josh and Matt have no idea who it is.
Sheamus gets on the mic before the match and he addresses his opponent
in Gaelic. He then asks him if he can stand in his path.
Match Number Four: Sheamus versus Roman Cornell
They lock up and Cornell with a side head lock but Sheamus with a
shoulder tackle. Sheamus with forearms to Cornell and then he connects
with a knee to the head. Sheamus sends Cornell into the turnbuckles and
then he punches him. Sheamus with a forearm to the back. Cornell with
punches and a kick but Sheamus with a bicycle kick. Sheamus with an
uranage backbreaker for the three count.
Winner: Sheamus
We go to commercial.
We are back with the Extreme Rewind: Christian versus Vladimir Kozlov
from last week.
We are reminded that the Abraham Washington Show still exists and will
be back next week with Tommy Dreamer and Christian as his guests.
Match Number Five: Vladimir Kozlov versus Tommy Dreamer
Kozlov with an arm drag into a waist lock but Dreamer gets to his feet.
Dreamer with an elbow to the head into a side head lock but Kozlov with
a leg trip and an elbow drop. Dreamer moves on the second elbow drop
attempt. Kozlov with shoulders in the corner but Dreamer with a kick.
Dreamer slams Kozlov’s head into the turnbuckles and Kozlov Hulks up but
Dreamer with a kick to the leg and a rollup. Dreamer with a drop kick to
the head. Dreamer with a clothesline from the turnbuckles for a near
fall. Kozlov with a knee and then he drops Dreamer on the top rope and
he connects with head butts to the upper cut followed by a
belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Kozlov with a waist lock. Kozlov
with a kick and Dreamer goes to the floor. Kozlov tries for a kick
against the ring post but Dreamer moves. Dreamer with a knee lift when
he returns to the ring and then Dreamer with a jackknife cover for a
near fall after Kozlov kicks out of a figure four attempt. Dreamer with
a side Russian leg sweep and then he goes up top and Kozlov dives for
the ropes to crotch Dreamer. Kozlov punches Dreamer and he sets for a
super belly-to-belly but Dreamer knocks him off. Dreamer with a kick to
Kozlov but Dreamer leaps off the turnbuckles and Kozlov with a head butt
and a uranage choke slam for the three count.
Winner: Vladimir Kozlov
After the match, Kozlov attacks Dreamer. Christian fights with Kozlov
but Christian accidentally knocks down Dreamer. Kozlov with a head butt
to Christian and we go to credits.
